Empty Hope and Positive Response

Deal all friends,
This sunday I learn something new again and I want to share it with you all. It is about hope. God gives us hope or maybe your friend give you a promise which you want to be a reality. Maybe a dream that you want it come true.

2 Kings :25-28
So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite:
Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well.
And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid it from me, and hath not told me.
Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me?

In this chapter you will see that this women helps Elisha by giving Elisha and Gehazi a place to rest. And then Elisha ask the women, what can we do to pay your help? And then Gehazi knows that the women has no child, so Elisha say to her that she will have a son right in this date next year. The women say "please don't lie to me". The women maybe doesn't believe it. Hence, the women finally has a baby right on the date Elisha said it.

If you fully read this chapter, you will know that her son is dead. Maybe I will reconstruct this like this:
you want to have something or a dream (hope) and you are not sure that your dream become a reality. Later fortunately you get what you want (the dreams true) but then you lost it, you have to let it go away.
You want a new car but you are not sure you can have a new one. You pray for it day and night and really really miss a moment that you will drive a new car. And then fortunately you win a quiz with a grand prize a car. In the next 10 days your new car stolen.

The women rush for Elisha, ask Elisha for help. The women sure can say something bad about God or Elisha but she doens't do that thing. She has a positive response. In the end of this story, Elisha finally resurrect her son. The son alive again.

What about us friends? Sometimes we get that empty hope? Our response will decide the end of the story. You can keep believing in God or say something bad about God. I choose to keep believe in Him.

Be Strong

Dear all friends,

Happy new year 2011. I hope Jesus give us courage to past this year succesfully and we are always healthy. May all our plans in this year come true.

I agree with my friends, my ex-mentor that life is not easier day by day. There would be a lot of problem. You can say what kind of problem it is. You can say 'hard to find job', 'economy problem, 'someone betray you', and etc. Sure those problem could take joy and peace away from you. I do, sometimes afraid about what would I be in the future and I think it is normal since I dont know anything about the future. I can make sure 100% what will happen in the future.

What I think is.....

if God tell you that you will be success in the future or you make sure 100% that you will be rich, what will you do? Some say, I would work hard and maybe some people will be lazy to work.

I read Joshua 1:6-9

Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.  

I guess in the first day of this year, God tell us to be strong. Like I tell you above, life is not easier day by day, so be strong. BE STRONG. BE STRONG. YOU AND ME, BE STRONG. Be strong to go till the end of this year. Watch our step carefully so we still walk in the right direction. 

Maybe God tell Joshua like this. "Hey Joshua, prepare yourself. You wilI guide this many peoples to Canaan. Don't be afraid. It is not easy, but I promise I will be there for you always. Just stay focus do what I say to you before."

I just dont want to worry about all of my problem. It is because, God be with us anywhere and anytime. YEAH! BE STRONG! BE STRONG! BE STRONG!

With this blog, I want to share what I've got after reading a bible. I think all of us have to share everything. Everything means everything you know about Jesus. Hope that we can strengthen our faith in Him. I am not a perfect christian. I am not a man with no sins. But what I know is, by share our problem, we bless each other. By share our problem we know that how blessed we are. By share our problem we know that Jesus is walking beside us and always walk side by side with us anywhere and anytime.

I think its fun to hear or maybe read others story. As we have to give our ears to hear other and maybe you are lazy to read an article with thousands words, we can practise our habbit to hear. Friends, I really, really really miss our life is changed. My life and your life. Amen.
